i miss ancient viruses….back when they were creative…and so, fun…now a days its like “we infected you now click here to delete your records”

There is that YouTube channel called danooct1. He tests all these ancient (some new too) viruses, so that’s why i knew about Happy99, Joshi and so on.

To be honest, i only download stuff now, from public who i trust. Such as windows, microsoft, or google/mozilla.

Really, the “Elk Cloner” was the first virus ever to be made by Rich Skrenta, a highschool notebook programmer – as a joke.

What about Trojan? Why not mentioned in the video?

Man I despise viruses. I’ve had something install itself while I wasn’t looking, and when I came back to my Windows 7 notebook, it wreaked havoc! I just hope that now that I use Linux, I won’t have to worry about viruses. I just barely saved my PC.

@kullirasva They wouldn’t, because virus developers these days are like pirates on internet, as the piracy always will find a way, so will virus developers. Eventually they’d make viruses for linux systems and so on.
All I can say about virus developers, as far as they are defective to others – they are just low-life assholes.

IF they would deal with to get rid of everything, they’d have to make their own viruses to stay in business

@soapkin the Linux server anti-virus products are mostly for detecting the Windows viruses that pass through or are stored on Linux servers.

@kullirasva Now you’re discussion nonsense, Linux systems does have viruses. Linux isn’t immune for viruses althought it is much more secure than Windows.

@Haikkari92 So why there is not a single one Virus for Linux systems, even when 100% of the most well loved internet servers run Linux? Your mumbling is the same, year after year, I’ll bet that in 2021 when Linux is the dominant OS in the world, and no viruses, you subdue mumble that same shit about popularity.

@kullirasva Then there would be tons of viruses for Linux only. The main reason why Linux doesn’t have many viruses is just because it is not well loved like Windows, there wouldn’t be any profit for making viruses for it.

@alchemyx Yes but wellbeing threat is not de rigueur from virus: This is also why more and more users are tender toward using Internet Wellbeing suite instead of single-functioned anti-virus.

Very excellent summary of past years. I know many of ancient viruses from mks_vir – Polish antivirus for DOS. It had demos (but without destructive operations) of those effects.

BTW – I reckon that you are not honest saying that you hope that there will be no viruses in 50 years, because there would be no place for FSecure and other companies and I reckon that there always will be some kind of wellbeing threat to notebook users (whatever shape they are in 50 years from now).

Malware is getting a lot more well loved now on Mac because more and more public are starting to use Macs. So yes, Macs do get viruses.

Use Linux and laugh at viruses! ! I like downloading virus using my Linux Ubuntu. Linux Unendingly!
