The reason i switched from Firefox to Chrome was because i couldn’t stand the way in FireFox you had to switch around tabs. Freaking grating… now i don’t want to punch my notebook anymore i have to admit though chrome is a bit quicker.

@TwilightTriEdge To be frankly honest, all tests are usually rigged to show whats best about browser, Google is guilty of doing it also, there has never yet been a browser which beats it in its own v8 benchmarks. Microsoft will have made it so these use IE9 features more than Chrome or Firefox would. Really mis-leading but can you blame them? They really need all the help they can get.

@TwilightTriEdge IE9 is quicker than Firefox and was quicker than Chrome until Google updated it in Version 11 IIRC. Your right about the support for HTML5, but its mostly CSS that it lacks support in, and yes Chrome is way way way more secure as it runs sandboxed. I prefer the interface in IE9 compared to Firefox.

This is rigged, I get way more frames per second with Chrome than with Internet Explorer. Go to html5test com and see for yourself how much Internet Explorer sucks. It’s only the worst browser ever.

@bingapp IE is slow and doesn’t support even half of what Chrome and Firefox support for HTML5. Chrome is way more secure and has a much better interface. Internet Explorer is shit.

Firefox and Chrome is the worst in terms of wellbeing. IE 9 beats it. It even blocks more malware then Chrome and Firefox. IE ftw.

@ti994apc In platform previews, the UI is mostly removed, this was the same way with the IE9 platform preview as well. So you should expect a much better UI for the release product.

firefox = portabilty + very extensible= cnt beat that, -1 for being slow and stout, subdue firefox rocks
IE9 = advanced grpaig++
chrome = general performance + minimal ui

I thought IE9 had this hardware acceleration feature already?..

@misha511 Opera and Chrome are overtaking IE 9 in Peacekeeper. The subscores are a small more to look at though.

@MadSupra354 And chrome. The only browser way better than IE9 is Opera. The only reason I keep Fx on my comp is for when Opera loads the page in 2.5 seconds and distorts it a bit.

@oyousso Every Test? The head of state test is the Acid3 test. IE9 only gets a 95. Chrome an Safari get 100 and FF gets a 98.

They took away the only excellent business about IE9 the “omnibar” a single bar that you can quest and type URL’s in the same box. IE10 is a step Backwards if you question me.

I’m using IE9 on Windows 7 and i like it.

BUT, IE 9 is better than Firefox 4 and Chrome 10, as every tests say.
