Yes insecure Internet Explorer 7.0, Microsoft announced a unique security leaks of the latest version of Internet Explorer. Leakage from Internet Explorer 7.0 is affecting the Windows XP operating system, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000 but does not affect Windows Vista, also does not affect Internet Explorer 6.0 or earlier.

In its security blog, Microsoft explains that this threat arises when Windows can not handle a URL address or URI perfectly. Internet Explorer 7 updates a Windows component, which modifies the interaction between Internet Explorer with the Windows Shell when handling a URL address or URI. Applications that pass the URI and URL are not validated to Windows can be used to exploit this weakness. An example is a link to an email message that can give access to the redirect code to run it as mhtml: “URI handler.

Microsoft’s current opinion is only to keep the firewall turned on, do not open any link, and check for updates, which indicates Microsoft will issue a repair patch outside of their monthly patch.

It is not safe with Internet Explorer 7.0, Microsoft to conclude launched the Internet Explorer Version 8.0 Beta For Windows Vista & Windows XP. Microsoft usually always run the WGA validation process (Windows Genuine Advantage) to protect the application, so that only authorized software can be downloaded Internet Explorer (IE). But now Microsoft Download Internet Explorer 7 open to all parties without exception.

This is the first time Microsoft did not use WGA validation in the main program. But still many Microsoft products that are still using WGA validation, such as Windows Defender, anti-spyware software and Microsoft Windows Media Player 11.

Reynolds also was not surprised by the reaction of the market share growth with more impact on Firefox. According to a metric web company, Net Applications,  Internet Explorer (IE7) launches a direct impact on the profitability of Firefox since October 2006 and increased by around 2 percentage points, now missing more than 3 points.

Internet Explorer (IE7) update also some things in it, like the menu bar can now be viewed by default, and the new administration menu. Users can get Internet Explorer ( IE7 ) by downloading from Microsoft’s official site or wait provided in Windows Update as a high priority.
