Windows Disk Defragmenter Utility lets you set back the space used in computer hard disk. You may think that your hard drive as a new cabinet that sometimes, it takes time to clean luangan and set it to seemingly neat.
When Windows Disk Cleanup Utility can help you to clean and completely remove useless files / files that are not in use, Disk Defragmenter works for manage the files and folders to be able to improve your computer performance. Follow the instructions below to perform disk cleanup for the computer’s hard drive / laptop, especially those with Windows systems files (usually located on drive “C”).
The way is as follows:
- Open the Disk Defragmenter utility in a way: “Start”> “Programs”> “Accessories”> “System Tools”> “Disk Defragmenter”, or: “Start”> “Run”, type “dfrg.msc” and press Enter.
- Select the disk that the defragmentation, (ie “Local Disk C”) and click “OK”
- Windows will do calculate the hard drive space you choose. This may take several minutes depending on the size of the computer’s hard drive / laptop:
- Windows started to defragment your hard disk.
- This process may take a while, depending on the size of your hard drive. During the defragment process, your computer may be running slow. One good thing about this is the Windows Disk Defragmenter Utility can pause, and the process can proceed at any time if you need to spend your CPU speed at full speed on something other interests, then you can continue the defragmentation process later.
